Elitech MTC-6040 Contrôleur de température et d'humidité avec refroidissement, ventilateur, humidité/éclairage/sortie de contrôle d'alarme

As others have mentioned, this device will only turn on a cooling unit, not heating, so it is not really suitable for what I needed, I thought a normally on relay would sort that out... however, although it will measure temperatures in the range I needed, the 'compressor' or similar cannot be set to a temperature above 20°c. Also there are misleading instructions. If you need to access the "Administration menu settings", you cannot do so as described in the instructions (pressing set and ^). The only way to access that menu is when the device has been turned off, then on again, whilst the unit is flashing in boot up mode, if you press set and ^ at that time, it will go into the admin menu.

It is compact and with good quality. It works well. However I’ll advise the eventual purchasers to read the product characteristics before, since the temperature control only send signals to control refrigeration not to heating as well. It is destined to refrigerating units, obviously. The humidity control works both for humidifying and dehumidifying but the temperature control works only to refrigerate. No problem for me because in this project I need to act over humidity and for the temperatures I only need to verify them and alarm if off limits and this works OK.
